Superior Beef
Superior Selection for the finest production in Ontario.
Controlled Production for Guaranteed Food Quality, Safety & Traceability. Ontario Verified.
RWA – Certified Ontario Beef is raised the Traditional way, “Raised Without - the use of Added hormones, Antibiotics or Animal by-products of any kind”, and “Raised With - Animal welfare & Humane practices” as a central core. We refer to this as our “RWA” production protocol.
We at Certified Ontario Beef go beyond historical Beef Production Protocols, with our selection practices that ensure the most consistent, tender product that can be produced that will assist our customers, and theirs, deliver a quality eating experience.
We work with and select our cattle the best family farm producers in Ontario; cattle under 20 months of age, fed & produced according to our production protocols, and verified/certified RWA & Ontario produced.
Verified and traceable for genetic integrity.
Certified Ontario produced and raised. Local with the traceability to back up our claims.
Some of our Family of Farms are Angus producers for our smaller marbled and tender beef, and some of our family farm producers are Limousine for our lean and tender products.
We are confident that when our customers buy from us; they are obtaining Verified Ontario; Certified RWA, and Traceable Genetic Integrity. We maintain 100% traceable records to back up our claims.
We buy the best certified RWA Ontario cattle around. When the cattle meet our stringent specs we “select” them for entry into our Production. This is just the first stage of selection.
Then we select specifically for you, our customer, from that group of cattle throughout our Production Systems.
You are getting two (2) levels of selection with COB, rather than perhaps inconsistency and little selection if you work with one producer, from one farm.

These brands are based upon grade definitions; and are NOT product production claims or source of origin claims; example : Ontario Corn Fed beef.
